Life After Cancer (LAC) is a
non-profit organization founded by LaTeacha Coleman, who
herself is a breast cancer survivor. LaTeacha was a
25-year old newly wed, an avid participant in beauty
pageants and a proud role model for young girls when she
received her shocking diagnosis in December 2007.
Determined to fight this disease and
emerge the victor, LaTeacha did just that. For today,
she is cancer-free and committed to the continued fight
against breast cancer so she can help others win their
fights, too.
LaTeacha, a
community service champion in her own right, is
currently in demand by various organizations to share
her story and experiences with other breast cancer
survivors. She has a desire to instill in survivors the
continuous will to fight and embrace life, and inspire
them to fulfill their destinies. LaTeacha is available to
speak at functionsto
promote breast cancer awareness across the country.
To this end, LAC
is dedicated to the following agenda:
Join
the fight, Please Donate to raise funds,
to provide or defray
the cost of items
such as breast prosthetic devices, specialty bras,
wigs, and support continued research to eradicate
breast cancer.
